What Is AeroArmor Paint Shield?
AeroArmor Paint Shield is Patriots RV Services' spray-on paint protection system, built on Peelclear® — a waterborne, peelable paint coating sprayed with standard HVLP equipment in a paint booth. Because it goes on as a liquid, it covers the entire surface you choose: a full RV front cap, a cargo door, a whole coach, a car, or a UTV. There are no film edges to lift, no seams, and no pre-cut pattern deciding what gets protected.
It can be sprayed crystal clear to protect the paint you already have, or pigmented to change or restore the color at the same time. Once cured it can be sanded, buffed and repaired like paint — something a stick-on film can never do.

Done With Diamond Shield?
Many RVs leave the factory with 3M™ Diamond Shield™ — a clear protective film applied as pre-sized pieces on the front cap. Over time owners see it yellow, crack and lift at the edges, and it only ever protected the areas the pre-cut pieces covered. Getting it off is slow, careful work — and it leaves sticky adhesive behind on the paint.
We remove the old film, correct the paint underneath, and spray AeroArmor Paint Shield across the entire cap — clear to show off the original graphics, or in a fresh color. Removing the old film and adhesive is included in your Paint Shield quote.

Film Removal & Surface Prep

Can you remove the Diamond Shield on my RV front cap?
Yes. We remove old 3M Diamond Shield film, clean off the adhesive, correct the paint underneath and then coat the entire front cap with AeroArmor Paint Shield. Film removal is included in your quote.
How is a spray-on coating better than paint protection film?
Film is cut into pre-sized pieces, so it only protects where those pieces go and its edges can lift over time. AeroArmor Paint Shield is sprayed as a liquid, so it covers the whole surface with no edges or seams, and it can be sanded, buffed and repaired like paint.
Can Paint Shield change the color of my RV, car or UTV?
Yes. Paint Shield is pigmentable — we can spray it clear to protect your existing paint, or in a new color. The Peelclear palette includes over 260 stock colors, pearls and color-shift shades, plus OEM factory color matching.
What finishes are available?
AeroArmor Paint Shield can be finished in gloss, satin or matte — crystal clear over your existing paint, or in a new color.
Can it be removed later?
Peelclear is designed to be scored at an edge and peeled away by hand in large sheets without chemicals or residue.
